I’ve got one of these with a vertical collapse but it’s been on the back burner for a good while now. I did similar steps to you but I never did get to the bottom of it, I was a bit concerned there was corrosion in the yoke but I need to take apart a worker to compare. Yes everyone I’ve had has been set for YUV but I’ve always switched them so a scart lead would work
