Re: Einstein as a cross-development platform
Check out Kevin Edwards on X (Formally Twitter) - A while back, he had examples of cross compiling running and has imaged many of Tim and Mike Follins 3" disks from back in the day.
No examples of it 'squirting' to the target machine unfortunately.

You are Welcome
Done me a massive favour as they would have gone into storage and not seen the light of day for a couple of years.
Mike.

Re: Portable Tatung Einstein Emulation
I see what is happening here
When i get a black screen, or the MOS screen (I have a working firmware files now) i have to press start, then it works
It boots into MOS first, then pressing start forces the .DSK file to work.
Happy days!!!

Re: It still all has to go!
Almost all my Einstein items have been sold now :) There are still some magazines, drive blanking plate and 5.25" disks and a Teac drive left. Not bad for a week worth of listings :) Plenty of Einstein eBayers getting some bargains :) Now is the time for me to concentrate on software instead of hard...

Re: Portable Tatung Einstein Emulation
Right, I updated the R3/Real card software to the version in the link on GBATemp forum, and the ColecoDS emulator now runs. Whoop Whoop. But ... Nothing on the Einstein runs :( ' I can't get Hunckback to run, i just get a blank top screen, with the keyboard on the bottom. It hasn't frozen as when I ...

Re: Portable Tatung Einstein Emulation
HHmmm Sadly, Putting the .NDS file and the coleco.rom file in the root of the SD card makes no difference. It does not appear in the list of available games or applications. It must be something to do with the M3 card. I will see if I can find an R4 card lying about somewhere and try that. Thanks an...

Re: Portable Tatung Einstein Emulation
Right ... Got my DSLite up and running. It has an M3 cart with microSD inserted. Downloaded the ColecoDS.nds file from github Put ColecoDS in its own folder on the SDcard root and added einstein.rom and coleco.rom and a couple of .dsk files For some reason I cannot see the ColecoDS.NDS file in the l...

Re: Portable Tatung Einstein Emulation
I am always trying to add new things to the web site file store, as and when i find them. Hopefully more things coming in the future. I have lots of 80 track Double Sided 5.25" floppy discs that I need to image, but Mame does not support this format on Einstein emulation, even when running System 80...
