Re: HXC Floppy Drive help

My FlashFloppy version works a treat, although some times, it wont write to the .DSK image for some reason. I have a dual 5.25" floppy drive unit arriving in May and I aim to get the contents off of the 50+ 5.25" disks that I have on to some blank flashfloppy .dsk images. Hopefully there is some goo...

Re: 1-bit sound

SirMorris has a PT3 player that works with .PT3 Vortex tracker files. I am looking for a .AY or .YM to .PT3 convertor as there are many tune files avaialble that I would love to hear Albert play. Did look at the 1bit sound library and its use with the Z88DK C compiler, but it looks a bit complicated...

Re: TC01 diagnostic ROM

Yes, the diagnostic rom works really well, as you can see from my Youtube video! :) - Thanks for sharing the link to the video. The Einstein is still running well amd is used almost every week! The diagnostic rom helped ensuring there was nothing else wrong with the machine once I had ressurected it...

RGB to VGA lead for Einstein

If any of you have a 15khz compatible VGA monitor knocking about, its dead easy to connect Albert to it. I have the schematic here;

Might be of use to someone? It's how I connect my Einstein up to a Dell 2314H LCD monitor. I also show it working in one of my Youtube videos.

Re: Weekend Tinkering?

My Einstein is always out on the desk in the office, connected to a 15hkz VGA monitor using a DIY RGB to vga cable. I want to make a joystick adaptor so I can use my micro switched 9pin Atari joysticks, and I have all the components to make the DAC Audio kit from one of the Einstein User mags. Unfor...

Re: Welcome!

@vanpeebles I have been compiling a list that has been in the works for about 12 months of all the Einsteins I have seen or heard about across the web (eBay, Facebook, Shpock, Insta etc). I have about 100 machines on it at the moment .. That's how many there are left in the world?? Seriously though,...
