I'm going to the UK to pick up a 256 (as soon as I can get a Covid vaccination) and the photo of my machine has keys the colours of yours.

Are they more susceptible to discolouration than the TC01?

Nice solution. Did they fix the "VDP INT pin unconnected" in the design of the 256? I've looked at the schematic and it seems to be connected to the gate array IC numbered I006, on pin 77, but what that is comnected to as an output, I have no clue (schematics aren't my forte). I see that KYBDINT fee...

Thanks for your reply Mr B. I just wondered why offer two basics, but I guess if it was able to let children learn BBC Basic, parents and schools might be tempted to buy a machine.

Silly question perhaps, but is XBAS considered a good basic? And how does it stack up against the BBC Basic for the platform?
