Re: EinSDein - Old version

Most probably a bug in RIP. I've only ever really had my own machine and set of disks to try it out on. I'll consider this my first bug report! PM me and we'll swap infos.

Re: einSDein troubleshooting

I use micro from time to time, I don't think it makes much of a difference. Ship your einSDein+eproms to me - along with your card if you don't mind - and I'll check it. If MCG wants it then they get priority, so perhaps ask first. vanpeebles' board has already had a check and clean bill of health s...

Re: einSDein troubleshooting

I can't say I've formatted many SD cards, I generally just erase all the files on them. If I do run a formatter it's the SD association one that everyone recommends . It's weird that you both have the same symptoms. It could just be coincidence - there were other einSDeins out in the wild with no is...

Re: einSDein troubleshooting

Hmm that looks fine. @lardo - can you open file in wordpad to see if the carriage returns are present? I'm sure they are but nopepad makes a hash of non-windows line endings.

Re: einSDein troubleshooting

I wondered if the sd card was being corrupted. Can you check the config.ini file and see what drives are mounted? Do the configuration options point to valid files on the sd card??

All the FATs should work, I use a 16gb card at home which I think is FAT32.

einSDein troubleshooting

I'll keep updating this first post with any relevant information that comes to light regarding issues with einSDein. When reporting an issue it would help if certain information was provided. OS ROM version einSDein ROM type (EPROM with window, EEPROM without) SD card brand/size A short precis of th...

Re: Keyboard troubles

?? I think we should make a new topic for this issue, rather than pollute the keyboard thread.

Re: Keyboard troubles

It looks remarkably like the symptoms that Mr. vanpeebles has been seeing. It'll be interesting to see how his z80 transplant goes. I don't think this is an SD card issue. If you're worried that it's a defective board then I'll be happy to re-test it for you. I don't think it is though, as I had van...

Re: Scrapings

I think as long as we have tried to contact Mario and no-one tries to claim it as their own work then there's no cause for complaint. But that's just me...
