Welcome to the new forum for the Tatung Einstein TC01 and 256. Hopefully we can make a small corner of the web, a home for these almost forgotten machines!

Hear hear. It's such a great machine but I think the size puts most people off

I hope the 256 is a bit smaller! The TC-01 will be my new PC monitor stand when it arrives! :ugeek:

Monitor stand?

I was going to post a comedy photo of my tatty holding my monitor (which it is) but the image is too large (ironically) and I cannot reduce the quality on my phone.

Is there any way to auto reduce the size at point of import as they do on SinclairZXWorld?

Does it say the image is too big?

Try that now :)

The only way I'll get my TC-01 onto my desk when it arrives, is to replace my monitor stand thing put my PC monitor on it as well. Then use the monitor for PC and TC-01 :)

It takes nearly half my desk. That is a 40” screen.

The 256 is significantly smaller & a little bit "plasticky" especially compared to the tank that is the TC01.

I'm guessing that most folks will prefer the bigger older brother? The 256 sounds like it has a lot of untapped potential. I was looking at vids of MSX2 games on youtube, and I believe the gfx chip is the same one.
