Has this game been written?

Post by Preppie » Wed Sep 14, 2022 4:38 pm

To get a feel for the Einstein I thought I'd write a simple game in BBC BASIC. I figured I'd do something similar to 'The Children' on the Atari which is based on Pitman on the MZ-700:

The Children: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B71Zu6T ... ITSFOREVER
Pitman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC1aU_R ... RetroGames

My question is, has this already been done on the Einstein? No point re-writing a game that's already out there.

I am loving The Children. The Mandalorian theme is brilliant. Grogu looks great.

Don't recall seeing anything like this on the EInstein, but even if there is already one, more of the same is never a bad thing. We have so little new content I will accept anything new :D

Do an EInstein version of The Children!!!! I demand it now! ha ha

OK, as long as I'm pleasing one person that's enough :) Even if it has been done before I guess I'll end up making different puzzles.

Just a little update.

I've entered the 20 levels from 'The Children' and I'm now in the process of enetering the 100 levels from gameboy catrap. After I'm done there I'll make some levels of my own, might even think up a new mechanic.
